Finito for creative agencies

Every client, every campaign, every hour. No Excel afterwards.

An agency sells time, but often tracks it in emails, loose sheets and the art director's memory. Finito puts your team's hours per client and per project in one place, ready to invoice and ready for payroll.

30 days free, no meeting or credit card needed. Then from €8 per user per month.

Built by an agency, for agencies

Finito comes from Moof, a creative agency in Rekkem. We built it for ourselves first, because our own hours were scattered across emails, Excel and the memory of whoever happened to work on a job.

That 'roughly' costs money. A round of revisions nobody logs, a quick tweak to a banner, a twenty-minute call about the brand guidelines: small things that add up to a few hours a week. Good time tracking for a creative agency makes that work visible before it slips away.

Where agencies usually struggle

Extra work nobody sees

The client asks for one more version, and another. With project hours and a budget per project you see when you're going over what was agreed, e.g. 36:00 worked of a 50:00 budget, so 72%. Then you call the client before it's too late.

Switching between clients

A designer works on a logo in the morning, squeezes in a social post and ends the day on a presentation. One tap on the timer per job, and switching costs no admin.

Pitches and internal work

Pitches, your own website and team meetings are hours too. Give them their own project and you'll see how much time goes into work nobody pays for.

Who sees what

The owner decides per person who sees amounts. A project manager follows the budget but never sees colleagues' cost prices.

A sample week at a small agency

A made-up example: an agency of five people with three projects running.

Monday

The schedule shows the week. The New website project for Studio Noord sits with the web designer, the spring campaign for a made-up bakery with the copywriter and the graphic designer. With a drag and drop, the owner moves a task to Thursday.

Wednesday

The copywriter forgets to start the timer after lunch. After 10 minutes without a running timer she gets a notification. Started, done.

Thursday

Studio Noord asks for an extra page. The project is at 41:30 of 50:00. The account manager sees it and sends a quote for the extra work straight away.

Friday

The designer worked late two days for a deadline. The owner reviews those days and chooses for each: overtime, flexitime, additional hours or no overtime.

From hours to invoice and payroll

At the end of the month the hours per client and project are ready for invoicing. You create the invoice itself in your own accounting software, also if you invoice via Peppol. Finito deliberately doesn't do invoices, so you don't end up with two systems each handling a piece of your books.

Then you close the month. It's locked and nobody changes anything. The payroll export goes to your social secretariat as a zip file, and an hour that's already been exported never goes out a second time. How that works is explained on payroll export for your social secretariat.

Time registration in 2027

The federal government wants general registration of working time from 1 January 2027. Under the preliminary draft, if you have nothing in place by then, you have until the end of March 2027 to comply. A time clock isn't needed; the system must be objective, reliable and accessible. The final text isn't settled yet, so check your own situation with your social secretariat.

What we know about 2027 so far

What it costs

Team costs €8 per user per month: planning, project hours and budgets, overtime review, time off in lieu and leave, payroll export and the log. Pro costs €11 and adds invoicing follow-up: per client and project you see what's left to invoice and mark hours as invoiced. All prices excl. VAT, cancel any month. Everything at a glance on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I track retainers and one-off projects separately?

Yes. Create a project with a monthly hours budget for a retainer, and a separate project for a one-off job. Per project you see how much of the budget is used.

Does Finito also create invoices for my clients?

No, by design. Finito gets the hours ready per client and project. You create the invoice in your own accounting software.

Can an employee still change yesterday's hours?

Employees can only make changes on the day itself. After that the owner can change it, and the original entry stays visible in the log.

Can my project manager see what an employee costs?

No. Project managers never see cost prices. As the owner you decide per person who sees amounts.
